The first amendment and basic universal human rights prevent degrading, offending, and desecrating other people’s beliefs. Hate Crimes and disturbing the Peace is a violation by the law, Ch. 877.03. And H.R. 1913: Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009. Punishable by a fine and jail time. and according to the fire prevention ordinance.
I ask that you please stop Terry Jones, the pastor of 'Dove World Outreach Center' of Gainesville, who calls himself a “radical”, from what he and his parishoners call a “radical act” which is burning the QURAN (the holy book for Muslims) on 9/11/2010, publicly, and they are inviting everyone to do the same through all the media, as is shown in the bottom of this letter .
Choosing the 9/11, the most tragic day for all the Americans including the Muslims, is driving some ignorants to burn what the Muslims consider the holiest thing they have, and when? Just after the Muslims will be finishing Ramadan - the month of fasting, the holiest month. During this month most of the Muslims recite the whole QURAN many times, which makes them by the end of the month so attached to the QURAN. So those who plan to degrade the holiest thing in the holiest time on the most tragic day are really trying to make conflicts and clashes - nobody can know where and how it will end.
Unfortunately in Florida and nationwide, Islamophobia is actually on the rise. I'm more afraid of those who have anti-Muslim sentiments and may think this is a legitimate action and may want to attack a mosque (which happened twice) or attack Muslims.
Jesus said in Matthew 22:39 “love your neighbor as yourself”
The Prophet Muhammad said in Bukhari : Book 8 : Volume 73 : Hadith 43
"Gabriel continued to recommend me about treating the neighbors kindly and politely so much so that I thought he would order me to make them as my heirs.”
I really think that this is what everyone should call on these days.

I do not believe in waiting for a crime to happen before taking action.” You pledged to ensure the diversity; “I pledge to establish an ethical and hard working administration that will reflect Florida’s diversity.” So please stop this “radical group.”
